first_imgThe territory proposed by the City for annexation consists of about 3.8 square miles of land, and includes areas adjacent to the existing City boundaries as shown on the map below.In June of 2018, the council voted to move forward with the process despite the overwhelming number of residents who testified against the ordinance, all of which either live or own businesses within the annexation zones. The petitioner’s representative is Soldotna City Manager Stephanie Queen. The Soldotna City Council will conduct a public hearing on Saturday, September 7, at 2:00 p.m., at the Soldotna High School Auditorium.center_img Members of the public may comment during the public hearing.
